February 12, 2010 under CANR News

Looking for a sweet way to enjoy Valentine’s Day?

UDairy ice cream will be available at the Bob Carpenter Center at the highly-anticipated Pink Zone game for the University of Delaware women’s basketball team on Sunday, Feb. 14. Enjoy a scoop and watch some hoops when the Fightin’ Blue Hens take on Georgia State University at noon.

In celebration of the Pink Zone game, the UDairy Creamery will feature two special flavors. Proceeds from “Pink Ribbon Strawberry” will be donated to the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Cancer Fund and proceeds from the sale of all Coach’s Cookies and Cream (Coach Martin’s favorite flavor) will be donated to the University of Delaware Athletic Fund.

Fans are encouraged to wear pink as part of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Pink Zone national campaign to support breast cancer awareness.

For ticket information call (302) UD1-HENS or visit www.bluehens.com
